Dusk time ....

A few weeks ago this hungry fellow crossed the nearby meadow.
As there was enough light from the snow I managed to get these shots at 400 mm and 1600 asa.
It's wonderfull to have such wildlife around our home.

Little Bat

Little Predator ....

Today this slow worm (Anguis fragilis) visited our garden.
It looks like a snake but is a legless lizard. What a wonderful creature!

Pine and Butterfly

This wonderful Red Admiral butterfly (Vanessa atalanta) has taken a rest on my little pine with the moonshell today. What a nice accent.

Rescued ....

Today while doing some gardening I discovered a Common Fire Salamander
captured in a street gully. This is a very very rare species in our area!
It must have been fallen in at the last heavy raining a few days ago.
You have been lucky my little friend !

A very rare butterfly

Today a very rare butterfly in our area visited the garden.
This is the  Purple Emperor (Apatura iris).
I managed to take a few pics. Enjoy.

This little wren is having his nest in an old wooden bar under the roof of our house.
