Bonsai-Museum Düsseldorf....the exhibition

We like to show some photos that we have taken at the exhibition.
Werner Busch has set up some tables with hundreds of pots
and the museum was open that day.
We are very happy that we have been a part of it!

A little visitor ....

Today we had a nice little visitor at our birdseed-house .... a squirrel .
The walnuts must have attracted it ... and I managed to capture it on cam.

A new birdhouse ....

Here's another hobby we both like very much. Building natural or sometimes crazy birdhouses.
This one here is made of an old lantern. Beautified with some tree bark and a heavy chain.
So...springtime may come .....

Friday opening .......

So here it is! The biggest one of the moonshell-pots!
I'm really satisfied with the result.
A little darker than expected but nevertheless a very nice performance!

Who said that I can't do the moonwalk.......lol....

The next kiln is loaded ....

Today the kiln has been loaded with the moonshells and a few small pots.
They are ashglazed and have to be balanced very carefully in the kiln.
Fine gravel is a very good choice for that.

.... can't wait to open it on friday ....
