Renewing our bird feeder.

This bird feeder has been made by me in 2006. The original roofcover was birch branches.
After that long it now has to be renewed. The resident basic waterproof cover is a piece of pond foil.
Additional mesh wire and a few wooden strips made it easy to fix the decoration.
This time I have choosen pieces of oakbark and some moss.
It is ready now for the next decade ..... hopefully....

A few pots 11 14

Just a little selection of pots that we like to share.

Off to the south ....

Today thousands of cranes started their journey.
Their route seems to go directly over our house, so I managed to get some pics.
Later on I visited the resting areas for a few shots.

Little Bat

Just to show you. A few pics of a little bat that visited our garden some days ago.
Enjoy ....

Little Predator ....

Today this slow worm (Anguis fragilis) visited our garden.
It looks like a snake but is a legless lizard. What a wonderful creature!

Some accent-pots ....

Pine and Butterfly

This wonderful Red Admiral butterfly (Vanessa atalanta) has taken a rest on my little pine with the moonshell today. What a nice accent.
